Case Vecie Amarone Della Valpolicella DOCG 2018 Azienda Agricola Brigaldara

Brigaldara’s Case Vecie Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2018 is made from the vineyard of the same name in Grezzana, in the Valpantena valley, at 450 meters above sea level. This unique terroir, thanks to its cool climate and favorable exposure, allows for the slow ripening of the Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes. The late, manual harvest, followed by a long drying process, brings out intense and complex aromas. Aged for four years in small and large oak barrels, this Amarone is distinguished by its intense ruby color and a bouquet of cherries in alcohol, figs, and dried blueberries, with spicy notes of pepper, cinnamon, and tobacco. On the palate, it is powerful and full-bodied, with smooth tannins and a lingering finish. A great Amarone from the “Vigne Alte” (Higher Vines), ideal with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
