P.28 Merlot Cabernet Raboso Veneto IGT 2023 by La Montecchia Conte Emo Capodilista is a Venetian red with an intense and structured profile, obtained from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet, and Raboso from the Euganean Hills. The vines, trained using the spurred cordon system with a southern exposure between 20 and 120 meters above sea level, grow on medium-textured soils with trachytic outcrops. Harvesting is done by hand, maceration lasts approximately 6-8 days, and aging continues for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels and barriques, building depth and consistency of flavor. The color is intense ruby ​​red, the persistent aroma recalls ripe fruit, while the sip is soft, savory, and long. Excellent with red meats, game, braised meats, cured meats, ragù, and aged or blue cheeses.
