Poggio dei Duca Pinot Noir Oltrepò Pavese DOCG 2019 Metodo Classico Calatroni is a Pas Dosé sparkling wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the upper Versa Valley, from a Rocca de’ Giorgi vineyard located at 540 meters above sea level. Manual harvesting and gentle pressing introduce a long aging period of 48 months on the lees, resulting in a taut, savory, and persistent palate. In the glass, it expresses a fine, continuous perlage, elegant aromas of early spring flowers, small red fruits, apple, and hints of pastry. A precise, vertical, and distinctive Metodo Classico that authentically interprets the profile of Oltrepò Pavese Pinot Noir.
